Card Playing Groups
Sun City Center provides an abundance of card-playing groups to fill the needs of residents. Bridge is well organized around several active clubs ranging from formalized duplicate bridge to the more social bridge games. In addition, poker, pinochle, and euchre have organized clubs.

SUN CITY CENTER BRIDGE ASSOCIATION
Purpose: The Sun City Bridge Association provides the organization necessary to play duplicate bridge at a formal level. The Association establishes the games to be played, sets the teams, records bridge scores, and maintains the point records of club members.
Membership: Open to Community Association members. Annual dues are $3.00, plus $1.50 per person per game. Guests of our members are welcome at $2.00 per game, per guest.
Meetings: All games are played in the Horizon Room.

GALAXY BRIDGE CLUB
Purpose: To bring together women of Sun City Center who enjoy playing bridge. Once a month each group assembles for a few hours to have lunch, socialize, and play bridge. It is not necessary to have a partner. Singles are always welcome. The Galaxy Bridge Club was organized over 20 years ago, and is one of the most active and long-standing women's clubs in Sun City Center.
Membership: All women CA members are eligible on a space-available basis. Galaxy is divided into three groups. Galaxy I meets the Fourth Thursday of the month. Galaxy II meets the Second Thursday of the month. Galaxy III meets the Third Thursday of the month. Each group meets for lunch and bridge at 11:30 AM at a local facility. Dues for each club are $5.00 per year. There is a nominal charge for lunch. No member may belong to more than one group.
Membership may be limited to 200 in each group due to limited space.
TopHAND & FOOT CLUB
Purpose: To provide the membership with the opportunity to socialize and enjoy the play of the Hand & Foot card game.
Membership: All residents of Sun City Center who are members in good standing of the Sun City Center Community Association are eligible for membership and Kings Point residents are welcome to join, if space is available.
Meetings: The club will meet for card playing on the first and third Thursday of each month. The first meeting of the group in December of each year shall be considered the Annual Meeting.
THURSDAY NIGHT PROGRESSIVE BRIDGE
Singles with partners are welcome.
Membership: Open to all CA Members. No annual dues are collected but players are expected to bring $0.50 each session for prize money.
Meetings: Every Thursday, 6:45 PM in the Horizon Room, Atrium Building.
EUCHRE PLAYERS
To provide an organized group of euchre players who are interested in playing the game on a regular basis.
Membership: Open to CA Members who know how to play euchre. Dues are $1.00 per year and $1.00 is collected for prizes each time you attend.
Meetings: Fridays starting at 7:00 PM sharp in the Sandpiper Room in the Atrium Building. Players are urged to arrive 15-20 minutes early to assure that everything is settled at the starting time.
LADIES PENNY ANTE CLUB
Purpose: To provide an organized club to meet, socialize and play poker for small stakes. The club affords women of Sun City Center an opportunity to meet other women to have fun and enjoy an evening out each week.
Membership: Open to all Women CA members and their guests. Annual dues are $1.00.
Meetings: Wednesday evenings in the Sabal Room, Atrium Building, 6:00 - 10:00 PM.
MAH JONGG
Purpose: To enhance the enjoyment of the members, to provide a means for socializing, and to encourage the development of their playing skills.
Membership: Membership is open to all individual members in good standing of the Sun City Center Community Association.
Meetings: A general membership meeting shall be held annually in the month of January, the date to be set by the Board of Trustees. Contact the President for regularly scheduled meetings.
MEN'S POKER CLUB
Purpose: To give a group of men who are interested in playing poker the opportunity to meet each week in the evenings for camaraderie and to play poker in various forms.
Membership: Open to any male Member of the CA. Guests are always welcome.
Meetings: Mondays and Fridays in the Royal Room (Atrium Building) starting at 6:30 PM.
PINOCHLE CLUB
Purpose: To have an organized group of men who enjoy the game of pinochle an opportunity to play the game each week.
Membership: Open to CA Members who know how to play pinochle. if you are interested in learning the game, call the club president (see Membership Directory or call the CA Office for information). Annual dues are $1.00 and $1.00 each time you attend for prizes.
Meetings: Twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays starting at 1:00 PM in the Royal Room of the Atrium Building, Central Campus. Players should plan to attend 15-20 minutes early so that tables can be set up and assure that everyone will have a chance to play.
